    Ability to add the last mile High Speed Broadband option in our area

    Last Mile

      Maple Valley Computer Center will be providing a broadband Internet Solution Starting March 2003. At the same time we will be adding Nation Wide access in over 3300 locations in North America.

      Using a one-way broadband solution, which is uniquely responsive to the needs of our end-users and will rival DSL and Cable modems in performance.

      Normal request by your dial-up modem is routed through our network to a Satellite, which will send your request back to your satellite dish and your computer at 400kbs (10 to 20) times faster than your present system.

      A monthly service charge structured similar to cell phone-calling plan will be offered. The subscriber will select a plan that has a fixed monthly rate and a certain amount of data transfer (megabytes) and connection time (hours) for the month included in that fee. Excess amount are billed at a higher rates. Unlimited rate would be $59 per month with 500 Mbytes download after which the system would reduce your bandwidth (speed) by 100kb for each 500 Mbytes used, or you could have a option of $0.14 per Mbyte after 500 with no slow down. Smaller packages are available.

    All Service fee are paid in advance. Any account not paid by last day of the prior month will be disconnected, and must pay a $25 reactivation fee to be reconnected.

    All SERVICE other than Flat Rate (RUP) requires a $100 deposit to cover Additional Usage.
    No Extra Using will be charged during the first 2 months.



    If you already have a dial-up Internet Service Provider - You can upgrade your connect with a Satellite down-load for as little as $19 per month. (Not AOL or MSN)
